Short Term Nursing Assistance

Short term nursing assistance are provided for 1 to 2 hours for patients to enhance their physical wellbeing.
Some of the services that are included in short term nursing are:
 
  • Patients are administered antibiotics and IV fluids through intravenous (IV) and intramuscular (IM) injections. Insertion and removal of cannula is also done.
  • Patients are vaccinated according to their vaccination schedule.
  • Patients who are unable to urinate naturally are assisted using Foley catheterization procedure.
  • Ryles tube insertion and removal at home can be done for patients who require Ryle’s tube support.
  • Sutures and PICC lines removal are done for patients at home.
  • Surgical dressing for wounds is done to maintain hygiene, enhance healing and eliminate infection.
  • Nebulization are given for patients who are suffering from respiratory infections, bronchial asthma as per doctor’s advice.
  • Monitoring the vitals such as blood sugar, blood pressure, heart rate, pressure rate, oxygen level and temperature.
